UK Reiki Awareness week is from 7th to 12 June 2010, initiated by the UK Reiki Federation. We are offering you the chance to experience Reiki Therapy for £10 or Crystal Reiki Therapy for £15.

If you are curious about what Reiki is and would like to experience it yourself, Reiki Chia are offering 20-minute sessions of Reiki Therapy for £10 in this week. Introducing Crystal Reiki Chia Therapy

We are also pleased to be introducing Crystal Reiki Chia Therapy. Reiki Chia is passionate about crystals, and is intuitively guided to use crystals in her Reiki Therapy sessions. Crystals have wonderful healing properties and helps to balance emotions. Crystals are placed on the body and helps to amplify the Reiki therapy session. Raising Awareness of Huntingdon's Disease

25% of all proceeds will be going towards the Huntingdon's Disease Fund, set up by Lorraine Haskins, co-owner of Ego Hair & Beauty. Huntingdon's Disease is very close to Lorraine's heart and it is her mission to raise awareness of this disease, which has affected her mother and other family members.

Huntington’s disease is a hereditary disorder that can damage the nerve cells in certain areas of the brain and affects around 8,000 people in the UK. It’s caused by a defective gene that can get passed down through generations. Those with Huntington’s disease may develop memory loss, confusion, aggression, difficulties with speaking or swallowing, weight loss, seizures and depression.

It can take 15 to 20 years for the disease to progress, which means there is often a need for long-term care. Although there is no cure, there is still much that can be done through good quality care and drug intervention. Raising money for The Amber Lodge
